EXCHANGE, REFUND & RETURN POLICY

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

- All purchases from The Ruby Reliquary are final. Except where a right or remedy cannot legally be excluded, we do not offer exchanges, store credit, returns, or refunds. Please carefully inspect or review all merchandise information before completing your purchase.

SECONDHAND MERCHANDISE & ITEM HISTORY

• All gowns and other merchandise offered by The Ruby Reliquary were acquired through the secondary or resale market and are classified and sold as secondhand merchandise, as-is. This applies even when an item is described as unworn, unaltered, a sample, or new with its original retail tags.
• These descriptions reflect the item's apparent condition and available history to the best of our knowledge. They do not mean that the item was obtained directly from the manufacturer or is first-sale retail inventory.
• Unless an item's complete history is documented, The Ruby Reliquary cannot guarantee that it has never been tried on, worn, altered, repaired, cleaned, restored, modified, stored, or previously handled.

CONDITION REVIEW AND PRODUCT INFORMATION

• The Ruby Reliquary performs a reasonable visual review of each gown but does not perform a professional garment evaluation or inspect every stitch, seam, bead, embellishment, layer, or inch of fabric. An undiscovered imperfection, alteration, repair, stain, loose or missing embellishment, fabric weakness, age-related condition, concealed damage, or other characteristic may exist.
• Descriptions, designer attributions, style information, dates, condition assessments, alteration information, measurements, and other details are provided honestly and in good faith to the best of our knowledge and ability. This information is based on available labels, tags, documentation, photographs, seller information, and visual observations. Unless expressly stated, it is not an independent authentication, appraisal, professional condition report, or guarantee of the item's complete history.

CUSTOMER REVIEW, INSPECTION & FIT

• Before purchasing, in-person customers are responsible for carefully inspecting the gown, trying it on when desired and permitted, reviewing available measurements and disclosures, and asking any questions.
• Online customers are responsible for reviewing all photographs, descriptions, measurements, tagged sizes, condition disclosures, shipping information, and other available details. Customers should request any additional available photographs, measurements, or information before purchasing when a particular feature is important.
• Completing a purchase confirms that the customer had an opportunity to review the available information and accepts the item in its disclosed and observable condition, subject to applicable law.
• Lighting, photography, screens, and display settings may affect an item's appearance. Vintage and designer sizing may differ significantly from modern street sizing, and previous alterations may affect current measurements and fit. A tagged size does not guarantee fit.
• The Ruby Reliquary does not guarantee that a gown will fit or that a desired alteration will be possible. Tailoring, repair, restoration, cleaning, and related services obtained after purchase are the purchaser's responsibility.

CLEANING AND SANITATION DISCLOSURE

• Unless an individual listing expressly states otherwise, gowns sold by The Ruby Reliquary have not been professionally cleaned, disinfected, or sanitized. This helps preserve affordable resale pricing, avoids unnecessary risks to delicate fabrics, beading, embroidery, and embellishments, and allows the purchaser to select an appropriate garment-care professional.
• An item's complete cleaning, storage, handling, and exposure history may be unknown. We do not represent or guarantee that an item is free from germs, bacteria, viruses, allergens, odors, dust, pet-related materials, cleaning-product residue, environmental residue, or other substances.
• The purchaser is responsible for deciding whether to arrange professional cleaning or treatment after purchase and is responsible for the provider and cost. The Ruby Reliquary is not responsible for an independent provider's pricing, representations, methods, workmanship, chemicals, damage, discoloration, shrinkage, alteration, or results. Cleaning, treatment, tailoring, repair, or alteration does not create a right to an exchange, return, store credit, or refund, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

REASONS THAT DO NOT QUALIFY FOR AN EXCHANGE, REFUND OR RETURN

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, exchanges, store credit, returns, or refunds will not be provided because of:

1. Change of mind or buyer's remorse.
2. Fit or sizing concerns.
3. Differences between designer, vintage, tagged, and modern street sizing.
4. Color, fabric, texture, or appearance expectations.
5. Minor differences caused by lighting, photography, screens, or display settings.
6. Event cancellation, postponement, or changes.
7. The item no longer being wanted or needed.
8. Failure to review the available information before purchasing.
9. A disclosed, observable, or overlooked condition, subject to applicable legal rights.
10. An unknown previous alteration, repair, cleaning, restoration, or modification, subject to applicable legal rights.
11. An independent vendor's inability to complete a desired service.
12. Damage or changes occurring after purchase through wearing, handling, storage, cleaning, sanitation, repair, restoration, tailoring, or alteration.

SHIPPING CLAIMS & UNAVAILABLE ITEMS

• Shipping insurance does not create a general right to an exchange, return, store credit, or refund.
• Customers reporting suspected transit damage or loss must promptly notify The Ruby Reliquary, preserve the merchandise and all packaging, provide requested photographs and documentation, and cooperate with applicable carrier requirements. Merchandise and packaging must not be discarded, cleaned, worn, altered, or repaired before claim instructions are provided.
• Any resolution will depend on the circumstances, available insurance coverage, the shipping carrier's investigation and determination, and applicable law.
• Because unique gowns may be available for purchase both online and in person, an item may occasionally sell before the website inventory is updated. If payment is processed for an item that is no longer available, the payment collected for that item will be refunded.
• If The Ruby Reliquary mistakenly ships an item different from the item ordered, the customer must promptly notify us and preserve the merchandise and packaging while instructions are provided. Any applicable legal remedies remain available.

PAYMENT PROVIDER FEES & LEGAL RIGHTS

• Transaction, processing, currency-conversion, or service fees independently charged by a payment provider are governed by that provider's terms. The Ruby Reliquary cannot guarantee that independently charged third-party fees will be refundable.
• Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer right, remedy, warranty, responsibility, or protection that cannot legally be excluded.
• By completing a purchase, the customer confirms that the product information and this Exchange, Refund & Return Policy were available for review and agrees to the applicable purchase terms.
